I find it rather humorous that a company can spend millions of dollars developing or acquiring a video game, and then so totally fail in implementing something as simple as patcher/login software. They've completely failed to address any problems with their launcher even after years of persistent issues. It has also been completely ignored by SoE. They all have the same issues as Planetside 2 users hitting a dead end before they can even install or patch the software. Google SoE Launcher problems with any of their other games: Everquest, Vangaurd, DC Universe, Everquest 2, ect ect.
The SoE Launcher has been plagued with numerous problems for literally years. Launcher problems are nothing new for Sony. Hopefully Sony will finally do something about their horrible launcher software. I posted this earlier in another thread, but i'll paste it here too since this is about pretty much the same thing.
